Donate Items

Clothes, Household Items, Toys & Books

Every day we gratefully take in donated food, clothing, books, bedding, and other household items, and make them available to our neighbors in need, free of charge.

Clothing:

We accept donations of all sizes of clothing (from newborn to adult) that is clean, in good repair, and in season. We also take pairs of shoes that are in good condition.

Our space for sorting and displaying clothing is small, and as a result, from time to time we regretfully must turn away clothing donations. We suggest that you call us at 586-6564 before bringing more than a bag or two of clothing so we can tell you whether we're accepting it that day.

Household items:

We are able to accept donations of small household items such as books, decorations, personal care items, and small kitchen appliances (microwave size or smaller) that are clean and in good working condition. We are also able to store a limited amount of home furnishings for people who need to set up a new household, such as pots and pans, dishes, bedding, and towels.

Items for children:

Young clients are very happy to receive your donations of children's books, videos, toys, games, and stuffed animals. Because we are not able to inspect each donation before we display it, we ask that you be careful not to bring in any items which are broken or present a safety risk to children. In addition, we ask that your donations be clean and complete with their necessary parts (e.g. puzzles with all their pieces, etc.).

Donate an Item To Our Wishlist

The running of our administrative office is very much enhanced by the generous donation of reliable equipment, office supplies, and small furniture as needed from time to time. If you are willing to make a tax-deductible donation of any of the following to the Center for our use, please call us at 586-6564 to let us know:
